Private Lessons

Private voice lessons are something that I cannot recommend enough for any student who is looking to spend more time working on his/her voice and developing it outside an ensemble setting. While I certainly do try to work with you all on your individual voices, due to class size and time restraints, our focus during the school day is, naturally, on the full choir sound more so than the individual. Voice lessons will help you to become more confident and comfortable in your singing!

Below, I am listing voice (as well as piano) teachers in the area and their contact information. If you are interested in finding out more information about taking lessons with any of these teachers, please contact them directly. I am also listing information about where they teach, and, if given, their philosophies on lessons, so that you can contact the teacher that sounds like the best fit for you personally. And, of course, by contacting them you are by no means committing to lessons yet, so don't be afraid to call or email just to get more information! There are MANY more voice teachers out there, but these are the ones that I know personally, or that responded to my request for voice teachers. I also will have these listed on our music website: (Voice teachers- if you are interested in being added to this list, please email me at
