Symphonic Band

Symphonic Band is a curricular class focused on developing skills through playing band literature. It is open to grades 9-12 and meets everyday Monday-Friday. Our goals include developing individual skills, performing a wide variety of music, and demonstrating musical integrity throughout the process of music making. In the fall, the Symphonic Band doubles as the Marching Band. There are several required performances involved with this class including all home football games, several boys' & girls' basketball games, the Winter Concert, Double Donation Dinner Concert, IHSA Organizational Contest, the Spring Concert, and 2 parades in the summer: Memorial Day and July 4. For more information about Symphonic Band, please view the syllabus
